Geometric Lab Emerald

Rich, saturated color meets bold, old-world-inspired faceting in this one-of-a-kind lab-grown emerald. Hand-cut by Belliveau Atelier into an elongated octagon, this 2.00 carat stone was designed to showcase broad flashes of deep emerald green and blue-green teal, with an open culet adding a subtle antique influence.

At 10.4 × 8.3 mm, the emerald has an impressive face-up presence for its carat weight. Large, geometric facets give the stone a dramatic play of light that changes as it moves—from deep, velvety green to vivid flashes of saturated teal.

The elongated proportions make it especially suited to a distinctive engagement ring or statement ring: substantial on the hand, but still elegant and wearable. Rather than a standard commercial cut, every facet was individually planned and hand-cut to create a gemstone with its own character.

This emerald was grown using the hydrothermal process, which recreates the conditions under which natural emerald crystal grows. The result is genuine lab-grown emerald material with the rich color and optical character associated with emerald, without the rarity and price of a comparable natural stone.
