Broad facets and a tiny open culet give the stone its distinctly antique character, creating bold flashes of royal and electric blue against areas of deep, inky contrast. Excellent color saturation gives this sapphire a dramatic presence, while the softly geometric oval silhouette offers a less conventional alternative to a traditional brilliant oval.
